Songbook XP is a standalone mobile app for viewing .songbook archives — collections of songs, lyrics and audio recordings. The app runs entirely on your device.

Information collected

Songbook XP does not collect any information. No personal data, no usage analytics, no device identifiers, no location, no telemetry of any kind is recorded, transmitted, stored externally or shared.

Data stored on your device

The app stores the following locally. None of it leaves the device:

• The contents of .songbook files you import.
• Your font preference (APHont or Atkinson Hyperlegible).
• The currently open page in the active book, so you can resume where you left off.

This data lives in the app’s private storage and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Third-party services

Songbook XP does not use third-party services, analytics SDKs, advertising networks or tracking technologies.

Permissions

• Audio playback — required to play audio recordings attached to songs.
• External storage / Files access — required to import .songbook files via the system “Open with” handler.

These permissions are used solely for the features they describe.

Children’s privacy

Songbook XP does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of any age.

Changes to this policy

If the privacy practices ever change, this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the change.
